About

The Colour and Form Society (CFS) is a not-for-profit group composed of accomplished visual artists based in Ontario and is an integral part of the  artistic community in Canada. 

The CFS supports a wide spectrum of member artists who intrinsically pursue art with creativity and imagination. We proudly showcase artists’ work through exhibitions that demonstrate a wide variety of viewpoints and stylistic techniques. With its foundations in diversity and creative freedom, the Colour and Form Society promotes independent expression in art. 

The volunteer efforts of the elected members are what make the day-to-day operations and CFS exhibitions possible.  Members are encouraged to volunteer and contribute their experience in support of their society. 
 
The Colour and Form Society holds an annual Open-Juried Exhibition in the fall, which is open to both members and non-members. The show presents outstanding art in a broad range of styles that often have quite diverse cultural influences. Acceptance into the Open-Juried Exhibition entitles  non-member artists the opportunity to make a submission for CFS elected membership status. In order to encourage excellence and public awareness for original fine art, the CFS awards prizes at its Opening Receptions. All art lovers are welcome to attend. 
 
Additionally, the CFS wishes to acknowledge the many years of support given by the Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery and the Assembly Hall and thank them for providing the gallery venue for the annual Open-Juried Exhibition and the space in which to hold the CFS Annual General Meeting.
