Every year, the Colour and Form Society presents their annual Open Juried Exhibition. This year, it will be at the Etobicoke Civic Centre from November 1 to November 29.
Adrienne Alison is a Toronto-based sculptress. Her notable public commissions include; the ‘War of 1812′ monument unveiled in 2014 on parliament hill, ‘C.W. Jefferies’, ‘Bishop Strachan’ and the ‘ACTRA Award’. Also deserving mention is her art as applied to medicine at Sunnybrook to create facial prosthetics for cancer and trauma victims.
Doug Purdon is a Toronto-based, award-winning painter and a recognized authority on artists’ materials and their use. He taught fine art – studio at U of T for over a decade, is a popular speaker and is much sought after for his art product demonstrations.
Each piece of artwork must have an identifying label attached to it when it is brought in. A template for this label can be found here
