Artist Spotlight
The Colour and Form Society is excited to introduce a brand-new website feature for 2026:
Artist Spotlight — a special showcase celebrating the talented artists within our society.
Every two weeks, a different artist will be featured with a selection of their artwork, a personal biography, and insight into their creative journey.
You will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of artistic styles, mediums, and inspirations while discovering the unique voices behind the art.
Be sure to visit regularly to enjoy the ever-changing collection of featured artists, and follow their creative paths through the social media links provided, when available.
Introducing the Artist Spotlight...
Katherine Percival
K. Percival is an artist and educator working in mixed media. Her practice uses a recurring cube motif to explore the tension between chaos and order, emotion and logic, forming a basis for material and colour experimentation. She engages themes of memory, including loss, recovery, and shifting perception. Drawing on Impressionism and Josef Albers’ explorations of repetition and colour, she treats colour as a language for expressing complex human experience and personal nostalgia.
