FIRST PLACE

Khadivi Golnaz Zand
I AM JUST A NUMBER

This stunning piece features a monochromatic figure with a piercing gaze set against a
powerful, vibrant background. It evokes deep emotions, conveying a poignant message
about the war and destruction our world has faced. The dynamic use of bold
background colors contrasts beautifully with the soft black-and-white (sepia) tones of
the figure, enhancing the intensity and emotion of the piece. It’s impossible to pass by
without stopping to reflect on its impact.

This is a beautiful piece with a delicate and masterful use of prismatic color. The soft
pastel tones in the background, water, and wolf harmonize beautifully, conveying the
animal's calm strength. The wolf both blends with and stands out from the background,
creating a striking balance. Powerful details in the shadows and highlights enhance the
depth and bring the piece to life.

extra layer of liveliness and charm, enhancing the celebratory feel.
