Maria Iva is an award-winning Canadian landscape painter based in Mississauga, Ontario. An elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) and the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA), she also holds Master Signature Status with Pastel Artists Canada (MPAC).

Deeply inspired by the Canadian wilderness, Maria works primarily in heavy impasto oils applied with a palette knife and rich soft pastels on sanded paper. Her impressionistic, colorist approach captures the dynamic light, texture, and spirit of Ontario's lakes and provincial parks. An active instructor and plein air painter, Maria regularly exhibits in juried shows, commercial galleries, and fine art festivals across the province.
