Karim Machado-Aman had his first solo show at VisualArts Mississauga (VAM) in October of 2020, and he reports that it was a great success.
The theme of the exhibition was" Humans and Human Nature" and it featured Karim’s portraiture and figurative works painted in water-mixable oils on canvas.
In January, 2021, Karim was awarded 1st place in the VAM43 Annual Juried Show for the painting “SNAP”. He writes that this was his first award and he is thrilled and honoured to have received it. Karim notes that this painting was also included in the CFS 68th Open Juried Online Show. You can view the entire show at VAM's website.
